Building Rc Trucks Track

Building Rc Trucks Track

How does a person build rc trucks track on his/her own

. Tracks are construed in various sizes and these include medium, standard and wide. When it comes for a person to build his/her rc track, the size, shape and variation differ according to individual needs and specifications. It is an individual track and therefore a person builds it the way he/she wants it to be. First things first, what are the factors one should consider? Making sure the budget for building the track fits it is an important consideration but first determine the kind of track you really want. There is a pro race track and casual track for home use. A casual track for home use presents an easy task to build but a pro race track demands a bigger, time consuming, more expensive project. Most people go for casual race tracks for home use.

How to build a home race track for rc trucks

Surface area of a home race track is one thing you cannot overlook. Before even one gets to construct his/her masterpiece, take a look at conditions of the floor. Depending on the location you want the race track to be placed, a hobbyist needs to make sure the surface area for building the track is flat and durable. If not, make some adjustments to the original surface such as pouring concrete to make the surface even. To pour concrete can be scary for those hobbyists who have done it before but its not tough. Going to ask for help to your local hardware store is a good idea if one has never tried it before. Making the surface area of the track carpet is a good idea. The best is a good low-friction carpet but not the kind found in your living room. Go look at a local shop selling carpets.

The right measurements

Grabbing a graph paper helps one in the measurements so that he/she does the right thing from the beginning. It is greatly discouraged doing it on a whim. The right procedure is to measure out the space one is going to build the track. Measurements are done using a measurement tape then transfer that to the graph paper. If one only has 16 feet by 16 feet space to work on, then make sure each foot on the graph paper is properly measured so as not to over/under size the track. When it comes to the design there is no real set rule on how the track is supposed to look. Just remember that it is your track and therefore should look the way you want it to look. You can make turns wherever you feel like, the idea here is to be creative and have fun.

Keep in mind that you should leave enough room for the rc trucks to turn corners etc. When planning to race a couple of rc trucks on the track, you need to have a space of at least 4 to 7 feet from wall to wall. Drawing out on the graph paper with the right kind of measurements will definitely give you the right kind of track designed the way you want it.
