Kids love to do crafts. The predictable issue with adults, many of whom do love working with crafts, is they have so many pressures to deal with that it can be tough to have the same amount of enjoyment as their kids. It's a bit of work, to be sure, because you need to make it all happen; then there is actually doing it and making sure everyone is happy and satisfied - plus the clean-up at the end. You also won't have to worry about someone's left handed scissors accidentally cutting into someone's sleeve if it is covered with something else.
Doing crafts are a fun and engaging time for kids (of all ages). You know how much children love to create. Adults with children have so much to think about, and that causes a great deal of stress.
