Dr. Israelsen was one of the pioneers in implant surgery in the intermountain west, and has placed thousands of implants in the last 25 years. He traveled to Sweden to received advanced implant training from Dr. Branemark, the inventor of osseointegrated implants, and was one of the 10 researchers in the US to participate in the FDA study of Craniofacial implants, resulting in this implant technique being approved for use in the US.
