Angela: I've tried for over a year to get pregnant
, and sometimes I feel maybe it's my weight, or maybe the sadness of it not occurring for over a year now. I get excited each time I get words of encouragement- people telling me that it'll happen and then I get really down when it doesn't. So many of my friends and family surrounding have their children or are on the way. Just the other day my best friend had her first child and I couldn't stop crying because it's not happening for me. I'm frightened of the possibility that I can't have kids or something!Suzan: I'm right there with you! My fianc and I have tried for a little over a year and still nothing, someone in our friends and family are getting pregnant every month but it's just not happening for us! I keep telling myself it's just GOD's way... maybe the time's not right, but, then that thought hits... what if I can't have a baby and it hurts so badly to even think about that...but, they say that if you stop wanting something, or get busy with other stuff to take your mind off of it it'll happen... Chantal: My hubby and I tried for 3 years before we were successful, so you have to keep your head up. I remember hearing stories about mothers abusing, abandoning their children and I was like, why was she able to have a child and not me? Everyone around me got pregnant when I could not and then while I was still trying, they would get pregnant with another baby. I remember saying "That's not fair, you can't have another until I have one" I was joking around with her of course, but inside it hurt soon bad. Have faith that when it is time, it will happen. Stay positive and in the meantime, try to find a hobby or something you can do to keep your spirits up. I'm in the same boat; you got to try to stop stressing. Talk to your Dr See if there are any medical reasons to why you are not getting pregnant.
Emma: I am doing acupuncture. It is helping me relax too......I understand how you feel. We've been trying for over a year and everyone around me is getting pregnant and having babies. It's gotten to the point where family and friends are asking/wondering why we aren't getting pregnant. Just the other day my mother told me I needed to hurry and have a baby lol... it's very straining and I've gotten to the place where I'm pretty numb to being disappointed.
I wish I could understand why for some people it just seems so easy. I know it is hard and it is heartbreaking... you see everyone else and think what am I doing wrong..
