The following are some of the general rules you need to know about the Spice Jet Airlines whilst aboard on Delhi Bangalore flight.
1.The airlines dont provide any free food or snacks on board but will sell them. So you can buy the snacks, juices and refreshments on board.
2.Water is provided free of cost.
3.You need to carry a valid identity proof document at the time of airport check-in.
4.The airlines allows some food to be brought into the flight such as sandwiches, cookies, biscuits etc but will not allow pickles, samosas, etc.
5.You can even bring your pet along with you but through carriage services.
6.Any change in flight timings or dates can be made up to 2 hours prior to the schedule of the flight. The airlines will charge you an additional Rs.750.00 per person for this change.
7.If you want to cancel the ticket then it can be done up to 2 hours before the schedule departure of the flight with a charge of Rs.750.00 per person. However the remaining amount will be retained in a credit shell of 1 year which you can use it for your future travel.
8.Smoking and alcohol is strictly prohibited inside the flight.
9.You need to be present at the check in counter at least 2 hours prior to journey.
10.The check in starts 2 hours prior to departure and closes 45 minutes prior.
Terms of carriage:
When youre traveling for the first time in from Bangalore Delhi you cant carry whatever you like. There are various restrictions on the size of your baggage and its weight too. The passengers may carry a maximum of 1 cabin bag and an additional bag / suitcase not exceeding the dimension 55cm + 35 cm + 25 cm.
The total weight of this luggage bag shouldnt exceed 20 kgs. If the baggages exceed this limit then youll be charge Rs.100.00 per each kg. However the airlines hold the right to refuse the excess baggage if it doesnt have enough space.
The airlines will not take responsibility for the wear and tear of the luggage so make sure you pack it properly. Apart from these 2 baggages youll be allowed to carry a laptop if you require it.
