The best time to lose weight is when a teenager begins to feel self-conscious about their appearance. 1. In the morning, never skip your breakfast. I'm sure this seems different from what you have bought online before, breakfast is very important to helping you lose weight especially in 7 days. This because, the body burns more fat in the morning than it does in the evening, by eating meals rich in protein, you will stir up your metabolism significantly and shed greater fat than you would have.

2. Eat a balanced diet, eating each meal in order from healthiest to least healthy foods. That means eat your fruit or vegetables before you eat anything else. Eat as much of them as you want, then eat a couple of servings of your whole grains, nuts and seeds. Next, eat your frozen or canned foods. After that, if you have any hunger left, enjoy a serving of dessert.

3. A teenager's greatest motivation to lose weight often stems from peer pressure at school. Teens can feel awkward about their appearance in the company of their friends. This alone can serve as enough motivation to kick-start a health plan. When this isn't enough, the parent needs to step up and become a strong motivating force. Parents must work with their teen to formulate a weight loss program. If this is not an option, there are several groups, such as TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly), that can serve as a solid support base.

4. If you go on a diet, that doesn't mean you have to say goodbye to all your favorite foods forever. You can still have pizza and tacos so long as you eat them in the right amounts and at the right times. A good idea is to have 1 cheat meal a week in order to keep yourself sane and keep you sticking to the diet for the rest of the week.

5. You have to understand that the body burns more fat during the day, than it does in the evening or cool of the night when you are relaxing. Therefore, stop eating heavy meals especially carbohydrate after 7.00pm when you are relaxing. If you must eat, eat plenty of fruits especially oranges and pineapples.

6. Drink at least 8 glasses of water per day. If you're over 130lbs, you should drink even more than that. Avoid carbonated drinks completely. Drink no more than one glass of fruit juice per week. Doing these things will not only help you lose weight, but will make you feel much better.

7. Eating three meals a day is a must to improve metabolism. A major issue preventing teen weight loss is the amount of liquid calories that are taken in from sodas. Substitute water for a soda. Water also is a vital source for improving metabolism and dissolving hunger pangs. When people feel hungry, it is usually a sign that they are just dehydrated and need water. To satisfy the hunger, most people snack on fatty foods like chips or candy. They should drink water instead.

8. If you want to see results, you need to maintain your motivation. The main reason people don't see results is because they aren't motivated enough to put the work in. If you can give yourself a strong enough reason to continue on with your weight loss, you will see some great results though.
