1- Too much too soon

2- The unhealthy diet

Weight loss happens when a calorie deficit is created. This means that your are using up more energy than you are taking in. therefore, no matter how much miles you run each week, if you are taking in higher amounts of calories than you are burning, you will witness your scale number increases, despite your effort.

The solution to this dilemma can be simple. Changing your bad eating habits won't happen overnight. But keeping a food journal will help you to get going on that road in no time. 3- The steady pace

Once you have built your endurance foundation and are able to run for at least 30 minutes without getting out of breath, you can then work on increasing the intensity of your training. The mistake many runners make here is that they don't take this step, out of ignorance or a lack of motivation. If you really want to train effectively and lose weight fast, you should do some interval training; also known as high intensity interval training HIIT. This kind of training consists of intense boots of running intercepted by boots of walking or relative rest. This will boost your metabolism rate and burn calories at a higher rate.
