The Walking Dead is about the survival of only few people led by a police officer, Rick Grimes, in a world infested by walking dead or zombies, on their quest in finding a safe place they can call home. This TV Series, The Walking Dead is based on a monthly basis black-and-white American comic book from 2003 Created by Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore as its artist. It has recently earned the 2010 Eisner Award for Best Continuing Series at San Diego Comic-Con International. It then decided to move forward on a new level of entertainment, thus, announcing the production of a TV series starting on August 11, 2011 which was premiered on October 31, 2010.
The story of The TV Series; The Walking Dead is about a group of survivors led by a police officer, Rick Grimes from Cynthiana, Kentucky, along with his family and some other survivors. They grouped together to survive after the world was infested by Zombies. The group's goal was to get into a safe place which was not overrun by zombies. But along the way, a lot of conflict within the group arose. Looking for a place where they can be safe, the group entered into a local city, Woodbury, Georgia where they met an insane man calling himself as the Governor. The guy was really insane and was a dictator and like torturing people. Some of the main characters died in the city due to a culmination of an all-out-assault in prison to suppress the group and Rick Grimes. The remaining survivors, along with Rick, went on their way to Washington DC which they believe, a secured city, only to find out that it was as badly infested by zombies as the other cities were.
The group was eventually convinced to move to Alexandria Safe-Zone led by a former US Congressman who became the Constable of the city, maintaining the peace in the town for himself, but later on, killed a man battering his own wife. A group of bandits then attracted a multitude of zombies to
Alexandria and surrounded the place. Rick later on became the new leader of Alexandria.
