Watch The Roommate online is a new movie produced by Screen Gem Films (Sony), set to be released in theaters everywhere on February 04, 2011. It was directed by Christian Christiansen, a Danish national who was nominated for an Oscar back in 2007 for his short film "At Night" while the script was written by Sonny Mallhi whose previous film assignments were "Shutter" and "The Stranger". Obviously he has some experience writing horror films. The movie was shot at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles with Minka Kelly taking on the role of Sara. Originally, it was Leighton Meester who was supposed to play Sara but she took on the role of Rebecca instead. Both women are talented actresses that filming this movie wasn"t so difficult. Other casts included Danneel Harris, Cam Gigandet, Katerina Graham and Alyson Michalka.
