When a Russian defector accuses Salt of being a Russian spy who is going to attempt to kill the President of the United States. Instead of sticking around CIA headquarters to see what they decide to do with this information, Salt decides to make a run for it and try to prove her innocence once and for all. While Salt is on the run she makes it seem much more likely that she is in fact a Russian spy like the defector had accused her of.
