Parenthood is an American comedy Dramatelevision series based on the 1989 film of the same title. It is also the second television series based on the film to air, the first airing during the 199091 television season.
The show revolves around the Braverman family which has expanded to three generations, featuring the patriarch Zeek Braverman, and the matriarch Camille Braverman, their oldest son Adam and his wife, daughter and son, their daughter Sarah and her two kids, their second son Crosby, his ex-girlfriend Jasmine and their young son Jabbar, and finally their daughter Julia Braverman-Graham and her stay-at-home husband and young daughter.
The series premiere ofParenthood was dedicated to the memory of Nora O'Brien, a Vice President at NBC, who died on the set ofParenthood in April 2009 in Berkeley California.
Based on the 1989 film comedy and starring Peter Krause, Lauren Graham, Dax Shepard, Erika Christensen and Craig T.Nelson (as the family patriarch). This is the story of the Bravermans - Sarah,Adam, Crosby and Julia - four grown siblings sharing the headaches, heartaches and unexpected joys of being a parent.
Summary: Adamis stressed out by his family and demanding boss. Elsewhere, Zeek and Joel try to fix a leak in the barn; Crosby gets ready to see Jasmine and Jabbar; Haddie learns to drive; Max endures a crisis; and Sarah searches for her niche.
