If You're A Parent In Trouble, Consider These Positive Parenting Tips!

If you are a struggling parent, you may need to consider these positive parenting

tips! At that link you will get advice about so many different aspects of parenting. And, you will learn what types of food will help you and your family be healthy emotionally and physically.

Here's a few things from that site, that you should really know about. For one thing, there are usually only three reasons why your children will act out:

They are fearful and stressed about something!

They don't understand something.

They need something. For example, they may be hungry, or thirsty, or tired, etc.

Let's talk about the first one last. So, starting with, they don't understand something. This is when we the parents need to keep in mind that our children are still young, and they might not always retain all the information given to them. Or sometimes, they might just not understand a particular thing yet. We need to give them the benefit of the doubt, and have enough patience and tolerance so that these times do not get out of hand. Also, number one can effect this also. More on this later.

The last thing is they need something. Now, for this article, we're not talking about cell phones and extra things like this. We are talking about, they are thirsty, hungry, tired, hurt, etc. There are so many things that a child could need. The important thing to remember is that we the parent, need to keep an open line of communication going. In other words, our children need to feel that they can express themselves when they need any of these important basics.

Now let us talk about the final positive parenting tip. This has to do with fear and stress. Believe it or not, much of the fear and stress in a child's life, is caused by their parents. If the forms of child discipline that you use are negative and forceful, there's a really good chance that you are actually hurting the situation. Things like yelling and screaming at, punishing, embarrassing, and talking down to your children, all cause fear and stress.

To see the entire story of cortisol, check out my positive parenting tips blog! In a nutshell, when fear and stress rise, extra cortisol is made by our body and it then goes to the brain. That makes a child disoriented. They then have to act out. So, we yell before and after they act out, and it all just becomes a terrible cycle.

It's important to address this because the long term effects of cortisol are not good. They can be teenage delinquency, and sociopathic tendencies and behaviors.

For more information about cortisol, and dozens of other tips, go to positive parenting tips. There you can get information that will help you focus on the roots of bad behavior in order to make a deep and lasting change,

Now that you're moving in the right direction, don't stop until you've found what works for you. Good luck, and God Bless!
