Florida

Home to warm weather, a vibrant nightlife, Disneyland and the 2010 Super Bowl, Florida is a great place to visit! The most well known places in the state of Florida are Miami, Orlando and The Florida Keys, which are all stand alone holiday destinations for Americans and international tourists. If you get the chance, visit the Everglades to see Alligators and ride on a hovercraft!

New York City

While the state of New York has its own attractions, the real interest for tourists is the city of the same name. The Big Apple is well known the world over for its hot dogs, Broadway musicals, Times Square, Madison Square Garden, Empire State Building, Central Park, Trump Tower, the Statue of Liberty, the Winter Garden Theatre, Rockefeller Centre and much, much more! While Manhattan is an island, it is considerable in size. If you do decide to visit NYC, be sure to allow for at least a few days to take in the sights and really soak up the atmosphere.Visiting the USA by:Richard Mylar

Los Angeles

The home to the stars often attracts people for that very reason. Hundreds of tourists jump onto buses to drive around the "city of angels" to see where the likes of Tom Cruise, Victoria and David Beckham, Hugh Hefner and many other celebrities live. The Hollywood glamour that oozes out of just about every street corner (including the ones in the bad parts of town) really does give visitors a glimpse into what happens in this exciting city. Los Angeles is also a great place to base yourself if you want to go and visit Disneyland in Anaheim.

Las Vegas

For those over 21, Las Vegas is the place to go to party any time of the day or night. Casinos and gambling in general are the main reasons why people tend to go there, and they are rarely disappointed. When walking along "the strip", you'll be amazed at the lights, glitz and glamour that ensue. Make sure you go to Vegas with plenty of money to spend, and while you may not leave with all that much, you will certainly have a great time spending it.

When visiting the United States, it is essential that you take out comprehensive travel insurance as medical treatment can be astonishingly expensive. While no one wants to gets sick on their holidays, it can easily happen. Therefore, the easiest way to ensure peace of mind is to take out travel insurance and be rest assured you will be covered financially should you fall ill or have something stolen.
