For this reason Romanians claim the title of Land of Vampires. Every year in the Sighisoara Castle I believe the most unique Halloween party is held in Dracula's place. Elsewhere in Europe, the recognition of Halloween is rise above with All Saints' Day, All Souls' Day, Zaduszki (Polish tradition). Most are connected to the Harvest fest when farmers were finished with harvest and were left for winter without food and income. Particularly Martinisingen is very similar to Trick or Treat except that it was held on November 10 and kids were not dressed up but were sent to sing for rich residents to collect food or money for worse times.
