Taxis, jeeps, public bus service and auto-rickshaws are available from Mantralayam road station to Mantralayam.
Another option to travel from Bangalore to Mantralayam is by road. Karnataka state road transport authority runs buses to Mantralayam. Alternately you can hire a either an A/c or non A/c taxi for an even more comfortable journey. Journey by road takes about 7 hours and 10 minutes. The drive will be on NH 7, Yelahanka by pass and Yemmiganur Ternekal road. On the way you can find HP petrol pump and others fuel pumps to fill gas. You will also come across eateries like Baskin Robins Ice creams and Sarovar hotel to enjoy a delicious meal. In addition to the existing Volvo buses, KSRTC has recently launched Vaibhav buses for the convenience of devotees visiting Mantralayam. If you are driving from Bangalore to Manthralayam then the route via Ananthpur, Gooty and Adoni is comfortable to drive. The other route that is via Bellary is not so comfortable.
