Pune lies at a driving distance of around 840 km from Bangalore. It will take about 12 hrs to reach Pune from Bangalore via Banglaore>Tumkur>Chitradurga>Hubli>Dharwar>Belgaum>Kolhapur in NH48. If you choose to travel through NH44, it will take 2 hrs more. Hubli and Belgaum are good and convenient places on the way for a break and night stay. KSRTC and MSRTC offer excellent regular interstate bus service between Bangalore and Pune. Private operated bus services ranging from semi sleeper to a/c luxury coaches are also available from Bangalore, ticket cost ranging from Rs 800 to Rs 1000.
