They are the perfect host always willing to help. One can feel and understand real impact of terorism by visiting Kashmir only. I had heard of "Lal Chowk" several times in news channels. As we passed lal Chowk our guide said "this is lal chowk, day before yesterday bom blasted here". I could visualize how bom would have blasted and people running for their lifes. Kashmiri's have learnt how to live with terorism.Offering luxury in a traditional style, the houseboats in Kashmir are famous for beauty and comfort. Most of the tourists prefer to stay at these floating accommodation options rather than hotels. And when it comes to honeymooners, no other option is more romantic than this one. The Dal Lake and Nagin Lake in Srinagar are the best places to stay at on your tour to Jammu and Kashmir. If you ever plan to visit Kashmir stay in a houseboat. Dal lake is 24 kms in diameter, there are houseboats near roads and in the middle of the lake also. Staying in the middle of Dal lake away from hustle bustle of city roads would be a good idea.
