If you are a fan of Michael Angelos sculpture David, then you would simply love the gallery as it has Michael Angelos piece of art which was carved between 1501 to 1504. Besides, it also has four unfinished prisoners and a statue of Saint Matthew which unfortunately is also unfinished. You would also see a great exhibition of Florentine paintings by Sandro Botticelli, Paolo Ucello, Andrea del Sarto, Domenico Ghirlandaio which are collections of the 15th and 16th century.
After a tiresome tour of the Gallery your next stop can be Oltrarno. It is located on the left bank of Ponte Vecchio Bridge which always remains crowded with the tourists visiting Florence. The main reason for such an attraction is because of the artisan workshops, wine bars and restaurants found in this area. The Italian food is absolutely scrumptious and most of all if you are a pizza lover then you better hang out here for sometime and then proceed with your tour.
After such a relaxed time, you get absolutely ready to explore the city to the maximum. So, the next idea would be to visit the museums. Uffizi Museum is great in terms of the beautiful pieces of arts that are displayed in it from the renaissance artists. You would mostly see the Medici art collections and that is because it was created from its collection in the 16th century. There are about 45 rooms displaying 1600 different pieces of art. The other one i.e. Bargello Museum is one of the best museums of the world as it greatly gives an insight into the medieval Florence and the renaissance movement. The most important fact related to this museum is the chapel which was designed by the Giotto.
