1. Melissa & Doug Cutting Food Box
It is a perfect gift for age two and up. Kids love to cut up all the fruits, veggies, and bread.
It comes with two cutting boards and two knives, so a best friend can play along too. It keeps them entertained for a long time and, as other parents have noticed, teaches the names of a few fruits and veggies along the way.
Everything comes in a nice wooden box with a slide-on lid, which is great for storing all the pieces and for the fun of putting in and out of the box.
A small detail is the Velcro stickers, which hold the pieces together. They are not complete durable. I have fixed a few of them, to fit the box.
Overall a great toy, well priced, and nicely made.
2. SE Mini 45x Microscope with Illuminator.
Due to the very low price of this microscope, I am very pleasantly surprised. The SE MINI is very compact and at the same time clear and powerful. It is very easy to use and much more effective than a 10x Belomo loupe.
The scope is built with very powerful LED illuminators, which is a great feature to kids.
To be honest, the scope isn't perfect, but is only 11 dollars. I would like to see a little better switch for the light and would happily pay 22 dollars for an identically designed scope with a more robust version of the SE MINI.
For the price, it is hard to request more than a good and solid toy. High value for money.
3. Bananagrams a scrabble game
If you like scrabble, you would just love Bananagrams.
There are no special squares, no points on the letters and no time to dawdle.
As a player, you are instantly rewarded for speed and flexibility in making your own crossword(s).
You may completely pull apart your crossword and start from scratch, if you need to or just swap out a letter here and there, but don't get caught with a bunch of spare letters when an opponent goes out!
This new board game is exciting and challenging to play for kids and adults. You can easily adapt the rules to suit yourself or suit kid's level. You can make the adults a handicap, when playing together.
Banagrams is portable, cheap, fun and easy. This can only be a 2010 Christmas big seller.
4. Stomp Rocket Jr. Glow kit.
This toy is perfect for boys in the age of 3 to 8 years. It is very fast to set up, in a park or in a garden.
Kids can launch the rocket themselves, and it goes quit high towards the sky. Brilliant entertainment.
It is just a question of time, when playing the rocket in a public room before other kids will be attracted immediately.
All kids will love it, even adult. Kids could play with this easy going toy for hours.

5. Silly Bandz princess 24 pack
What a great hit for young girls. They are the hottest thing in the "young girl's toy universe" right now and the offline toy stores cannot keep them on the shelves. They are pretty neat, as they go around the young girls wrists and when taken off - they turn back into an item again.
Great toy for a very little price, entertainment for hours for a few dollars.
