#1 - Be flexible
If you've ever looked into getting cheaper travel, you'll have heard this a million times before. That's because it is the golden rule of low-cost travel! The more flexible you are, the more fares andflight paths are open to you. Many airlines have sale fares available for a limited amount of time and the lowest fares available are usually during the week (Mon - Thurs). As forvacations, you can often get a great deal if you book at the last minute, however you may not get to visit your 1st destination or hotel choice for the price you want.

Flexibility is not always an option. Maybe you have a tight work schedule, maybe you cannot travel on short notice, maybe you have to book your vacation a year in advance Luckily there are other ways to save money on travel!
