The Why & The How of MLM Advertising: Online vs Offline - Which Is Better?

If you've never built your MLM business online

, know that online MLM advertising is not only different to what you're used to doing but rather it's completely opposite. Advertising your business online involves a totally new attitude and approach to your business - but I think you'll like it!

Most people when starting their network marketing business are told to make a list of everyone they know, have them show up in your living room, everyone will sign up and they'll be ready to retire. And for some, this is all they are ever taught; that it's the only way to succeed in network marketing are create walk-away residual income (not true by the way regardless of the company your with, in case you were wondering!)

After most people fail with that approach, they will quit. For those who have not yet given up, they may be encouraged to try another marketing approach, that of getting some kind of opt-in or even genealogy list leads - names, phone numbers and email addresses of people allegedly interested in making money working from home. To some this may appear more appealing than selling their friends and family, but the same problem remains: you are having to pitch them to get into your network marketing opportunity to be able to make any money while subjecting yourself to lots of unnecessary abuse in the process!

Don't get me wrong, it's still possible to get results, but the perpetrated lie that these leads are somehow serious and pre-qualified prospects or ready to join your company is a complete lie. Just because they may have requested some INFORMATION at some point in time about working from home does not mean a prospect is serious - let alone ready or able - to start a business from home. Plus, they have no clue who YOU are (as there isn't any rapport or trust built up yet), they haven't been exposed to what you're offering nor are they qualified (the simple generic online capture form they saw and filled in doesn't tell them anything about YOU, your system, your business or anything else!), and so many mlmers fail using this strategy also.

The good news is that there is a better, more enjoyable, more effective, more profitable strategy that has the potential to create a serious income where people are chasing you down - the essence of PULL marketing (versus PUSH marketing - what you've been doing instead, ie, going after people & trying to pitch them...). There are tools and systems you can leverage to actually attract people who are actively searching for success in this industry, people with the true desire to do effective MLM advertising to develop a successful & prosperous network marketing business.

But you will NOT be able to recruit them by pitching or selling them. That's not how it works. People are looking on the internet to solve their problems, they aren't searching for someone to sell them something (but they will buy if they can sell themselves).

Isn't THAT a much better way to work your MLM advertising? Providing people the information they are requesting to solve their problems. That creates establishes trust, builds a bond & before you know it you are building a relationship. When you can help people by providing free valuable information to help them solve their problems, they'll continue to seek you out & if you give them enough value, they'll sell themselves on you & buy from you.

That's a very important concept so I'll repeat it: people will buy from you once they sell themselves on the value of the information you've shared. People do not want to be sold, but they do want to buy. So your goal with your MLM advertising is to create valuable content to attract quality prospects looking for a solution to a problem.

Zig Ziglar once said: "If you can help enough people get what they want, you'll be able to get anything in life you want." This is how your MLM business should be built if you truly desire the kind of passive income that a mlm business can provide when built right. Building and advertising your MLM business in this way can truly give you everything you desire.
