The Things You Should Do After Purchasing Your First Camera

The Things You Should Do After Purchasing Your First Camera

You spend hard earned money buying your first digital camera

, or it may be your first DSLR camera, you certainly do not want to use automatic transmission getting patted souvenir picture. Do you have got start to read manuals? You should attend one or two training courses, or buy a bunch of digital photography books? The biggest problem is that where and how start?

Even if you are on the road to professional photographer, it doesn't mean you cant take excellent photos like a pro. Photography, at least, is not a hard job but very happy.

.

Feel your camera

Before you turn over any instructions or watch the quick start guide, make sure you have took some photos with the automatic mode. Hold your camera, press down the shutter, and have the feelings of them. It should be your partner and lover rather than your tool. You should know where every key is and what they function are. Carefully press each key and see what happens. The reason why should you do these is that when you read the instruction is you know where the keys are mentioned on it. Once you have done this, you can begin to read the guide.

Read the manual

Before you start to read the directions, take a highlighter to record all the chapters you already know. Read all the contents you dont know in details (in fact, even the content you already know are worthy to read).

Practice

This is a step by step training, try different settings and see how they affect the final photos. Learn about white balance (you can read in my other articles). To the non-photographers, there is little meaning but is useful for digital photography and you need to full control over it. Take a photo, change the different white balance settings, and then see what happens. Try camera all the different features, all you need to do is understand the camera buttons, menus and dials. And then you can be more creativity in the photography. Learn how you control the camera the camera so that you know what kind of effect they will have on your photos.

Unless an artist or a worker is completely mastered their livelihood tools, they were unable to reach a higher level. You also need to adjust the camera's settings without leaving the viewfinder. This may look a little strange, but shooting is a captured moment, you have time to consider about how to adjust camera settings. At the starting it may be difficult, but as you learn more about digital photography, this skill will become the future basis for your masterpiece. An old saying says, practice makes perfect, so put some time and effort to do this exercise. Photography fun!

Indeed to myself, I love to make a photo album or even a photo video after a serie of shooting. Also want to try your own? Some video editors will be hlepful for you. Need the help of best avi to wmv converter? Maybe this avi to wmv mac can help you..
