Let me say that I personally have faiththat Taylor is a very real talent. The approach that really pushed her into superstardom was her capabilityto relate to the majority of girls her age. She seems sincere, and someone that you would like to meet and hang out with and this is a largepart of her fascination. On the other side, it has worked against her for a smaller population in that they feel she is just not professionalenough. There are those that belittle her singing. Its not powerful enough or skilled enough for some. Most however love her voice for what it is.As a musician of many years, I can say honestly that Taylor is a solidsongwriter and her singing is fine. But since this discourseis out there, I believe Taylor feels the need to prove herself.
This BFF attractions he has is very powerful. Many of her fans want to meet her or talk to her. They try to go before the concerts and after in an effort to get closer to her. Is this phoney? I dont think so. I believe she means everythingshe does, but I also think her management and family are well aware of this potenthook. I think Taylor and her family and management utilize this attraction but I dont think that is insincere. I believe Taylor actually does appreciate her fans. However they all realize now that it is expected, and something they have to provide.
Taylor has also wound up up being a role model for millions of girls. This too is not easy to live up to in the long run. The media is almost begging to find her smoking weed, getting drunk, or treating her fans poorly. So there again, its much easier to be the bad girl. It is much easier for a rockstar, to well...party like a rockstar. Any conduct like these however, would be deadly for Taylors fascination.
So the bottom line. Sure Taylor is a multi-millionaire. Yes, she can have her pick of men and most of what the world offers, but still its not that easy. Taylor must work more than many stars, and basically give it everything she has to stay on top. She must go aheadt o meet with her fans and remaina saint to the media. She is currently on a world tour that began in February and may not end until some time next year. She is playing in some cases back to back, three or more times a week, and in between doing a lot of PR work. She talks with her fans at the airport, plays a few songs from right in the audience, television shows and much more. Seriously, her schedule would be demandingfor anyone. And all the while playing her best, and trying to keep up her good girl appearance.The good news is, if anyone can do it, its Taylor Swift.
