The Novasans Blog is one of the 12 Finalists in Thailand Medical Tourism Blog Contest
The Medical Blog Contest is organized by theTourism Authority in Thailand, with the aim ofpromoting medical tourism in Thailand. During one week in November, 12 qualified bloggers will travel to Thailand to experience some key medical and health service providers (such as hospitals, spas and clinics) from five randomly selected destinations (Pattaya, Koh Samui, Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket)on site. Miss Svederberg, together with her fellow contestants, will share her daily experiences during the trip through posting blog posts, videos, photos and travel stories in order to inspire others to learn more about travel and medical tourism. The TAT will also arrange additional sightseeing tours for finalists so they can experience the attractions of Thailand as a medical tourism hub.
The competition runs from November 20 2010, to January 31, 2011. The participant whose blog receives thehighest number of unique visitors will win the amazing prize of USD 10,000 in cash, and Hotel Vouchers valued at USD 3,000 (at Sri Panwa, Phuket and Westin Grande, Bangkok). The participant with the best blog content will win an impressive USD 3,000 and an additional UDS 2,000 in Hotel Vouchers (at Ratilanna Riverside Spa Resort, Chiang Mai and Absolute Chandara Resort and Spa, Phuket).
The blog contest is part of TheTourism Authority of Thailand's (TAT)recently launched marketing campaign promoting global healthcare in Thailand. The campaign runs until April 2011 with the goal of enhancing Thailand's reputation as the "Global Centre of Excellence For Medical Tourism".
