The Carins Wildlife Dome - An All Natural Experience
There are amazing wildlife habitats in the Queensland area of Australia
. The Tropical North Queensland region holds a fascinating attraction inside the Wharf Street Reef Hotel Casino in Cairns called the Cairns Wildlife Dome.At the Sofitel Reef Casino there is an unbelievable glass dome building on the roof that houses more than fifty different species from the rainforest. These animals and birds are allowed to wander as they would in the wild, they are enclosed of course, but they have a lot of space in this habitat.
This habitat provides you the opportunity to touch and feed the animals they have there. There's also a big underwater habitat so you can watch all the creatures that live in and on the water. They have shows to see such as the Reptile Rap, the Bird Show and the Dusk Creatures Show.
You get to see the rare creatures native to this area and not alive anywhere else in the world, such as sugar gliders, bandicoots and koala bears. There is a lot to learn at the Wildlife Dome as it's an educational arena for the animals in this region as well as a viewing habitat. There are also snakes, turtles, lizards and crocodiles that are particular to this area. You can see the big croc, Goliath and have a photograph made with the cute koalas.
The whole family can have a fun time at the Cairns Wildlife Dome in Tropical North Queensland, because they can see and touch the animals, and learn about their homes. The tropical rainforest holds many unusual creatures and this provides a way to see them.
