The Actual History Behind Halloween Shots
The history of Halloween shots is unclear. Nobody usually know when the first Halloween shots were concocted, mixed, and served. Maybe Halloween shots are as old as Halloween itself, or sometimes they are as old as mixing drinks. It is also possible that Halloween drinks are a new invention of the modern age. No one appears to know the real answer to this question. The history of Halloween shots is still a mystery. It is as enigmatic as Halloween itself.
If we dont know once the first Halloween shots were concocted, maybe we could at least find out who brewed the first Halloween shots. Unfortunately, we cant. The answer to that question is as vague since the answer to the previous one above. Not a living soul appears to know who first served Halloween shots. It could be someone from the early times, or a bartender of an eerily illuminated, modern-day bar.
However, I do have an uncanny theory. Sometime in the past, a frighteningly beautiful witch lived in a cave. She is not the ugly, warty type commonly portrayed in your average childrens books. One dark night, once the air was cold and chilly, she wandered through the forests searching for herbs. Guided only from the eerie moon above, she carefully acquired her ingredients one by one. She was planning to brew a drink that could liven up the gloomy people of her town.
Back in her cave, she mixed the ingredients with care. Each component was added in the right amount and order; the timing was precise. She waited for the exact moment in her damp and lonely cave. The pot was fuming, whistling, vibrating, and shrieking. Finally, the drink was ready. She served the drink to her people. They loved it very much and had a blast partying. Unfortunately, they drank too much of it. As a result, they slept for a very long time. When they woke up, the witch was nowhere to be found. The townspeople did find the recipe in her cave. They recreated the recipe every year during Halloween and called it Halloween shots. Regrettably, they cannot remember who gave them the recipe and when it was first brewed.
Don't forget this tale when you try taking some Halloween shots. Be careful not to drink too much. You might end up like the townspeople and forget things. For instance, you might get wasted and forget to go home. Halloween shots are supposed to liven up a party, not to induce a sleepfest. Drink moderately, and dont drink and drive. The witches of yore never touched a broomstick when they had a bit of the substance in their blood.
