History of Taj Mahal
Taj Mahal is the elegant structure established in the year 1631 in the memory of his wife Arjumand Banu Begam who is popularly as Mumtaz Mahal. The chief designer of the world's beautiful building was Ustad Ahmad Lahuri. Amanat Khan from Iran was the calligrapher and the dome was designed by Ismail Afandi of Ottoman Empire. There were more than 20,000 labors who worked for day and night to shape the imagination of Shah Jahan. After they worked continuously for 22 years, Taj Mahal was finally completed in the year 1653.
