Sustainable London Office Building Scoops Industry Award
The award, which was launched by serviced office brokerage firm officebroker.com in April this year
, recognises office buildings that offer a flexible and service-driven working environment for clients.As part of the criteria, the winning centre must be able to show that they offer an excellent level of customer service to its clients, maintains a free flow of communication and a positive relationship with their account managers at officebroker.com, and keeps a strong profile on the officebroker.com website.

Farringdon Too
In September, office building Farringdon Too, which is operated by flexible office and workspace company The Office Group, scooped the award having impressed judges with the team's attentive customer service, flexible office options, and its commitment to sustainability.
The 1960s building was transformed by The Office Group into a stylish, modern business centre that offers a contemporary and highly-efficient environment for small and medium sized businesses. The redevelopment of the property involved various recycled materials, such as car tyres for the flooring, and included the addition of recycling facilities along with environmentally-friendly features such as green roofs, a wind turbine, and rainwater harvesting.
Offices come with sensor lighting to save energy on parts of the building not in use, and the building is heated by solar panelling. Showers and bike storage have also been installed to encourage staff to cycle to the office - therefore reducing their reliability on other less sustainable methods of transport.
Creative space
Jim Venables commented that the centre stood out as an excellent advocate for the flexible space industry.
"The work they have done on the building has transformed it into an efficient, creative space, and it provides a great environment for both established and start-up businesses," said Jim: "They have an excellent support network in place and the team look after their clients extremely well."
