High school graduation is not that tough as at age the student is quite mature. The high school gown and the graduation stole that they wear are also of a little sober nature. They will not mind even if you buy it from a cap and gown sale. But it is different for kindergarten kids. Ever since your son got admission in the kindergarten, you started dreaming of his kindergarten graduation. You always wanted to see your child in graduation cap & gown. When you saw your neighbour's son in gown for graduation since then there was a feeling inside you to order cap and gown for your son.
It is your first experience and you don't have any idea as how to make the preparation for the kindergarten graduation.
Start by selecting a proper graduation cap and gown. Make sure that the material of the gown is light and comfortable and which your son can feel comfortable in it. Then take a trial of the dress. If it fits properly then well and fine but if it is lose or length is little big then it is better that you get it fixed then and there and not postpone it for some other day.
Graduation ceremony is a whole day affair where your son will have to walk around whole day. You cannot stop kids from playing around. There are chances that he may stumble down due to gown. Therefore it is good if you buy a pair of comfortable shoes for him in which he can walk and play around without feeling tired.
The next thing is get him a neat and trendy hair cut which goes with the mood of the ceremony. To make him look little stylish and trendy on the graduation day, put some gel in his hair and fix it in any style you like. You can give him a serious look or can even go for a complete spiky.
In the graduation ceremony it is the custom that the students go up stage to collect their graduation certificate and then say a short speech to thanks one and all. Your kid is small enough to write a note of thanks. On his behalf you prepare and write down a speech for him. Do not use hard words and also do not make the speech lengthy. When you are done with the speech writing, teach him and make him learn. Help him in practicing it until he learns by heart.
On the night before the ceremony let him sleep well so that he gets up fresh in the morning. Make him do breakfast nicely as there is no idea when the ceremony would end. May be there is no food arrangement there or even it is, then it is late in the evening. Till then kids cannot remain hungry.
