If you are trapped in a car and you cannot roll the windows down, one of these tools can save your life. Often times these tools will come with a car safety kit.

Jumper cables are another necessary tool. If your car should ever not start you will want to start to try to fix it by jumping the car.

You will need another car to jump your car. When you are in a parking lot you should be able to find someone that is willing to help you out for a few minutes.

When you are shopping for these supplies you may be able to find a package with both of these aspects. You will be able to have all of the car supplies and also the first aid kit.

If you are going to be traveling in the winter you will want to make sure that you have extra blankets and proper outwear for being stuck in the snow. You do not want to end up freezing when you are stuck on the side of the road.

No matter what season you are driving in you will want to have extra water and some extra food. The food that you should have on hand should have a low salt content and should be high in protein.

If you buy snacks that have a lot of salt in them you will end up going through your water much quicker than you had planned to. Stay away from the salty snacks.
