Nilambur is a beautiful town in the Malappuram district in Kerala. It is situated close in the banks of the Chaliyar River, and having a distance of about 70 km from Calicut and 100 km from Ooty. The specialty of Nilambur is its deep forest enriched with teak and other furniture woods. Attractions in Nilambur are teak museum and historical housings.
