Sing-A-Ma-Jigs Unique Among The Toys 'R Us Fabulous 15 Toy List
The Sing-A-Ma-Jigs line of plush singing toy creatures has made the Toys 'R Us "Fabulous 15 Holiday Toys" list for 2010 which selects the hottest toys of the year that are sure to become incredibly popular for the holiday season. These adorable little singing creatures stand out among all the other contestants, and because of this are sure to rank near the top of the list in terms of sales when the holiday season is over and all of the numbers are added up.
The only other plush toys on the list are the Pillow Pets line of cuddly stuffed animals that open out in order to form pillows for children to sleep or nap on. These are great toys for young children, and it's not hard to see why they're on the list. However, they don't provide the same kind of interactive experience as Sing-A-Ma-Jigs, which means that the Sing-A-Ma-Jigs have a unique experience to offer.
For interactivity, the Imaginext Bigfoot The Monster offers a wider range of interactions, but it's not a plush creature and would generally not be considered to be as cute as the Sing-A-Ma-Jigs. Also, the Imaginext Bigfoot toy does not come in different varieties, and doesn't hold the same range of appeal as Sing-A-Ma-Jigs. In fact, it's narrowly targeted at young boys aged 3 to 7, whereas the Sing-A-Ma-Jigs appeal to both genders a wide range of ages. Ellen Degeneres even featured the toys on her talk show and had the entire audience harmonize all together.
While all the items on the list are excellent toys, there is no other plush, interactive stuffed animal that provides the same kind of experience as the Sing-A-Ma-Jig toys. Several are designed specifically for girls, such as the Disney Princess & Me dolls, the Calico Critters Luxury Townhouse, the Monster High Cleo DeNile and Deuce Gorgon doll set, and the Squinkies Cupcake Surprise! Bake Shop. Others are marketed specifically to boys, such as the Nerf N-Strike Stampede ECS, the Tomica Hypercity Mega Station Set, and the Fast Lane Wild Fire RC.
Other items are fun games and figurines to play with, but as such provide a much different experience than playing with the Sing-A-Ma-Jig toys. These include the Minotaurus game, the Cuponk games, the Loopz motion game system, the Leapster Explorer, and the Disney Pixar Toy Story 3 Imaginext Try-County Landfill. All quite wonderful toys, and many of them provide similar play experiences to each other. But none of them quite match the play experience derived from playing with a Sing-A-Ma-Jig doll.
So among the hottest of the hot toys this Christmas season, the Sing-A-Ma-Jigs provide a demonstrably unique play experience for children, and are in a class of their own. They're sure to become an incredibly hot commodity this holiday season that parents are going to want to snatch up as quickly as they can in order to make sure that they don't have to deal with stores running out of stock. They're adorable, colorful, and funny looking. They chatter, sing, and harmonize. It's really no wonder that they're one of the most unique and sought after toys for this holiday season.
