The mall is located in close proximity to Orlando International Airport, so it's an easy trip straight to the shopping mecca, if you so desire!
If your kind of shopping holiday is a little more on the upscale end of things, then head to The Mall at Millenia, located just off Interstate 4. The prime attraction is the anchor stores, although they are just the foundation for a cornucopia of varying retail environments: Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus, and Orlando's first Apple Store. In fact, the entire area around the Millenia Mall is considered the high-end fashion district, as it is surrounded by galleries, IKEA, and luxury car dealerships. Security vehicles patrol the parking lots, and the safety of customers and shopkeepers is taken seriously by mall managers.
If you prefer to shop where the locals shop, then head to Orlando Fashion Square in downtown Orlando. There is a million square feet of space to explore, on two floors and amid anchor stores such as Dillard's, JC Penny's, Macy's and Sears. With several major urban developments in the area, this is the place where Orlando residents go for their daily shopping needs. Orlando Festival Park and Blue Jacket Park are close by, should you need to 'come up for air' from your shopping excursions.
