? Well, it seems the fall out is beginning to clear a bit, and Toyota is beginning to see some kind of resurgence in business. Schaumburg used Prius locations are already noticing a big pick up in business, though it seems hard to ignore the events of the past several months. The argument has raged on and on over the course of the recall: do we stand by Toyota for developing and distributing one of the most innovative vehicles on the market or do we make an example of the fledgling automaker following the indiscretions of the Big Three and the ensuing government response?Lets be honest here: Schaumburg Prius dealers know it, consumers know it and the government knows it. The Prius is easily one of the biggest leaps forward in terms of progress that the auto industry has sustained over the past several years. Fuel economy numbers that resulted from the industrys first consumer hit of a hybrid engine have revolutionized the driving experience and have kept eager drivers flocking to Schaumburg used Prius dealers. That isnt to say that we shouldnt hold Toyota responsible for its actions, but it would seem the driving public has been pretty quick to dole out forgiveness, with new evidence showing that sales were up close to 50 percent in March.

The government was right to bring scrutiny upon Toyota and the men and women that run the company, for the blood of those hurt or dead drivers is upon their hands. And, happening right in the midst of the slow recovery of the recession, just when consumer confidence was coming back to the reluctant driving market, the recall dealt a pretty rough blow to car sales at just the wrong time. On top of all that, are we to let Toyota off the hook after weve seen the government step in to curb the gall of the Big Three? Certainly, the government is not limited to involvement in only American manufacturers; as part of its duty to the consumer public, the public sector has a right to know what Schaumburg used Prius dealers have to hide, if anything.
Well, regardless of what you might think about Toyota, the Prius has been a run-away hit. And yes, there was a pun intended there, Schaumburg Prius drivers. Over the last few years, we have seen many imitators to the throne, but none have been able to steal the thunder of the first hybrid. There was, however, a strategic hole in the market that a ready automaker could have striven to fill. But alas, it would seem the moment has passed us as Toyota sales have seen a steady increase over the month, and it would seem that now is the new time to buy a new or used Prius.
