This huge arts and crafts fair offers you the chance to browse, and buy art and spend a day in the open air listening to live music and tasting some of San Francisco's best food. Entrance to this festival is free and you can jump on a free shuttle bus from some of the main bus stations in the city. Another great arts and craft festival to attend has to be the Union street festival which takes a greener look at the art world by creating and display works made from recycled and sustainable materials.
The city also welcomes some alternative festivals and celebrations into its bosom with open arms, so no matter what you're looking for you are bound to find it on a holiday here.
