Round-tripping Resulting In Corruption Of Word Document
Conversion of MS Word documents from one format to another is common
. The document can be converted to Excel, Access, or any other format. The process of converting MS Word documents to another format and also converting it back to its original format is known as 'Round-tripping'. While this process allows the user to view the Word document data in different formats, it can also result into corruption of Word document, if performed repeatedly. Corruption caused due to the above reason results in inaccessibility of data saved in the Word-document. To access the data saved in the document, the user needs to restore the document from an updated backup. However, if no backup is available or backup falls short of restoring, then the user can opt for inbuilt or third-party Word Repair utilities.To illustrate the above problem, consider a practical case where you convert your Word document to PDF. 1.Click on File option.
2.Choose 'Open' and browse to the corrupted Word document.
3.Select 'Open and Repair' option to perform repair.
If the above steps fail to repair, then need to opt for effective Word Repair application to Repair Word File . Such third-party tools use advanced scanning algorithms to repair logically corrupted Word document.
