The holiday season was a great time. But, now it is a new year, and it is about time to start thinking about spring time. And with the coming of spring time, comes brand new spring attire for those much warmer spring days, and a spring time make-over for your home. Redecorating for the spring time is not as difficult as it may seem. As long as you remember the golden rule for spring time decor. The most important rule for decorating for the spring is, remember to keep everything bright and inviting as possible. Unlike how a lot of people may try to fool you and miss lead you by saying to you exactly by the book, how you should place your home decor, I will never do this because decorating is just as much an art as a beautiful painting. And as with any art there are no rules, only guide lines. So when decorating let your passion flow across the canvas that is your home.
To give you an example of this let me give you a small taste of the passionate designs that fill my bedroom. I began by pulling up my wool rug to reveal a wooden floor. The wood was dark and damaged not nearly what I was looking for. So I decided to have my floor bleached. By a weeks time I had the floor finished and it was time to work on the walls, which I neatly covered with three lovely coats of lime green paint. Moving on from there to my bed I removed my darker shams that hung from my canopy and replaced them with a brighter yellow design. Finally to complete my bed I spread the most beautiful rose duvet cover across it. This particular rose duvet cover had a white background and large red roses lay scattered across. Now it was time to put the finishing touches on my bedroom, so to help bring out the luster of the work in my room I polished off my wood with some wood polisher and placed one single rose next to my bed to complete the flavor of the season of love.
