Your Free Estimate

The first step is handling your information request. Whether you call in and talk to one of our customer service reps or contact us through our online form, we will be able to provide you with a free estimate managed by one of our account managers. This will not be done without a complete roof inspection by one of our trained hail and wind damage specialists. If you have damage, we will document it and take photographs of the damage. If there is no damage then there is no need for a new roof and we will let you know so you can have peace of mind.

When one of our account managers has physically inspected your roof, you will receive an estimate for the work that we are able to perform. Once we have a signed contract your job goes directly onto the schedule to be setup for completion. We will act as a liaison between you and your home owner's insurance claims department.

Scheduling Your New Roof

Once the insurance company has approved the claim we will have all the materials ordered for the complete installation of your new roof. It is at this time that your account manager will get with you and show you your options for roofing tile colors and styles.

Preparing the Work Area

When the crew arrives, they will begin setting up everything needed to complete your job. This may include tarps, ladders, plywood, extension cords, etc. If there are any questions that you would like to ask during any part of this process, please give us a call. It is always best to inform us of any concerns as soon as possible so we can address them.

The Tear Off

Don't kid yourself, removing an existing roof is gonna be loud. Due to the volume of old material coming off your roof all normal safety measures will be used. All of this material has to come off and is placed either directly into a dumpster or on the ground and removed by hand. It is crucial to understand that this is what we do routinely and will try our best not to inconvenience you in any way but you can expect a professional atmosphere while the process is taking place.

Rotten Wood or Bad Decking

During the tear off process is where we are able to evaluate the quantity of plywood that should be replaced, if any at all. Most homes don't require any new wood but those that do can range from a single 4 x 8 sheet of plywood to several. No need to worry though as your insurance claims department is aware of this as a normal part of the process and will receive a notice from us in the event additional wood is required.

Depending on elevation, additional protection may be required for ice prevention. Most situations do not require this in Colorado.

Felt paper is placed under the shingles as an extra layer of protection. The shingles are placed according to the manufacturer's standards, along with local code. Your building permit is for your protection.

The Aftermath

Now that you have a beautiful new roof will you probably will be concerned about nails and roofing debris in the yard, right? No need. We will perform a complete cleanup and use rolling magnets throughout your yard, shrubs and flower beds. If you feel the least apprehensive about nails in the yard, please call your account manager and he will be out to your home within 24 hours to take care of any concerns.
