It is my proud privilege that I would like to thank to everyone for making these remarkable Article a success. I am here to write on a topic named RIGHT OF PARENTS. I am not going to take much time and will finish my words within four points.
Starting with my first point, I would like to highlight the fact that out of all very intelligent and famous people in this world, how many have studied Law; making this medium of education a respectable and honoured profession. Some of them are as follows:
Late Shri. Mohan Das Karam Chand Gandhi
Mr. William Jefferson Clinton (Mr. Bill Clinton)
Honourable President Smt. Prathibha Devi Singh Patil
Ms. Kiran Bedi
The list is endless.
The names which I have mentioned do not need any introduction. However, the similarity amongst them is very clear that all of them were LAW graduates.
Now, I will move to my second point i.e. why the respected term named father is used for Mahatma Gandhi? Why when this question arises that who is the father of our nation? , only one answer comes to our minds. Which proves that there must something in that gentleman that we still remember him as father of our nation. One more observation I would like to share that is, our country had the honour of having a lady who helped many needy and helpless people to live there life with great respect, who has actually designed their lives and helped them to stand on their feet's in this world. I am talking about no other person than Late Mother Teresa, the lady who devoted all her life in the well being of people of India without any self interest. And, one more fact which I am sure most of the students must be aware i.e. father of computer. Mr. Charles Babbage. Out of so many multinationals that were making computers none of them holds the respectable position of father. If, out of all mentioned above anyone would have been thought about one's self interest than their might be chances that we were still living under some other countries rule, many people must not be able to stand or able to come out of poverty. We would have been still working on our same age old typewriters.
My third point is answer of the two points that I have mentioned above. First that how successful one can become after graduating as a Law student. And, second to become a person like father and mother you have to lose your self-interest. That is, being a student of Law while taking any decision one should always study facts and figures accurately and then come to a conclusion. Also, it is not mandatory that one should study Law then only he/ she can become parent. However, to become a parent of anyone like country, child or any product, one should think about others benefit and in whole how it will affect the community.
To conclude, and come with a decision I would like to mention that if we have such good examples in front of us why were we still making mistakes. Why we have so many legal suits filed by parents on their own children's asking for money, security and respect. Why the person who have designed our future, who actually gave us all support, respect, fulfilled our needs was begging for such small things. We all were aware that our parents have full right for asking such things, than why were we still not able to provide them with all of that irrespective of the fact that our monthly incomes were manifold in recent years. Who have actually led the foundation stone of this modern society, it was our old parents who have seen future in our eyes and supported us for a better tomorrow. Then, who is the designer you or they; who watered the tree which was sown in past. Non-other, It was them. They were the ones who supported your higher education made you stand and learn the different cultures and societies. Then why parents should be blamed for a cause which they have not done. I think that it was our fault that we have forgotten to adjust and stick to our own culture in a hurry to copy others and multiplying our salaries. If this would have been done by them we were never able to stand in this fast world.
I am sure my word will definitely touch the hearts of young to be lawyers and they not only respect their parents more but also make their minds set that in future if they any such litigation in their profession they will fight for the right of parents.
