This week on Grey's Anatomy: Meredith's fertility drugs are causing her eyesight to go bad. She cannot perform in surgery because of this. When she gets checked out, she is told that she needs to stop the fertility drugs or else she could permanently damage her eyesight.
Adele is back in the ER yet again from another accident. She tripped at the grocery store and a display fell on top of her. Chief Webber asks Bailey to help her. She makes her do a substance abuse test because she can't find anything medically wrong with her. Meredith and Bailey suspect early dementia. There is an Alzheimer's patient who has to rely on her son to remember things for her. Her young son has a bump on his throat that they have failed to get checked out. It turns out to be a cyst that is pushing on his trachea which is closing up. Dr. Stark is upset that it wasn't caught earlier and wishes to have the child taken from the parents by protective services. She is part of the clinical trial and has been designated to receive the actual drug and not the placebo. Dr. Stark calls off the call to protective services after much pleading from April. He then asks her out.

A patient with Cystic Fibrosis is getting a lung transplant until Teddy finds out that his girlfriend also has CF which could kill both of them from an infection. Teddy tells them that it's either their relationship or the lungs as they could go to someone else who would live longer with them. They say that the relationship is over so that he can get the lungs.
