The local markets are a must for any bargain hunter, or to pick up the local fresh fruit and vegetables.

Please take into consideration that this is a residential area and therefore noise levels must be kept to a minimum. Quiet residential street with trees and plants,within easy reach of bars and restaurants. Lovely walks to the shared swimming pools, with grassed areas, children's play area and even a game of boles if you are feeling energetic!

Torrevieja / Dream Hills Area: Our apartment is in Los Altos, 10 minutes drive from Torrevieja and its many sandy beaches, coves, top class golf courses and is within walking distance to a choice of bars, restaurants and shops. Torrevieja is located south of Alicante next to the crystal clear waters of Spain's Costa Blanca and surrounded by two large natural saltwater lakes. It is 47 km from Alicante, the provisional capital, and 35 km form the airport "El Altet". This region of Spain has an average of 320 sunny days per year and excellent all year round temperatures. Together with the inexpensive flights to either one of its airports, Alicante or Murcia, this area of Spain is fast becoming Europe's most popular golfing and beach holiday destination. The attractive sea front is a string of secluded inlets, beaches of golden sand, well-cared for residential districts and two quiet marinas.

The pagola on the sun terrace was a god send and the additional touch of the beautiful flowers was lovely. Thanks to Anita & Colin and their neighbour Janet who were all very helpful and only live across the road, so we had very helpful information about the surrounding area and places to visit.
