Relieve Caregiver Stress During this Holiday Season
The holiday season is upon us and so is the hustle and bustle that comes along with it. This is a busy time of year for families. With gatherings, parties, ceremonies and celebrations, there is often a lot to keep track of and it can be overwhelming for even the most talented of multi-taskers.
Family caregivers, like the rest of us, have a lot on their plates. Caregivers often do so much more than provide care. BrightStar, a full-service home healthcare and medical staffing agency, announced the launch of its "Hire an Elf" program, designed to reduce the increased emotional and physical stress of caring for aging loved ones and children during the hectic holiday season. This initiative is in conjunction with BrightStar's commitment to the Alzheimer's Association as a Platinum-Level National Team for the 2010 Memory Walk season.
