Every time I read about another coming-of-age, or retired couple traveling in an recreational vehicle, just for fun, I wish I was at least there with them - if for no other reason than to share in all the sights, and sounds and fun, that they must be having traveling in their RV across the plains of Pennsylvania state. Its always been the practice of people who own a recreational vehicle to use it for exploring, rather than just traveling. It's very safe, it exudes charm, it's inviting to all that see it coming, and it wears well. Recreational vehicles last as long as conventional cars do as long as you take good care of them. Change the oil, have the fluids topped-off, rotate the tires, keep it clean and it should last for a long, long time.

Go to some of the amusement and recreational parks; go see the sights at the zoo; swing by the festivals and the fairs; partake of the the arts and entertainment; the heritage and history of Pennsylvania - fishing, golfing, hiking, horseback riding, hunting, skiing, water activities and nature trails.
