Pressing the tab will require a thin rounded metal or plastic tool. When the lock is opened, remove the internal battery as well.
Remember that the tool can cause damage to the plastic so it's best not to rush this. When the old batteries have been removed, replace them with the new genuine batteries.
Click the battery in by pressing on it. Now, insert the receiver back into the casing that holds it which should fit in perfectly.
At this stage, the Polar heart rate monitor should be functional again. The screen should display a full battery indicator at this point.
