Here are a couple of ideas to help kick off your photo work:
Le Kliffe, located on Puerto Vallarta's South Coast, and El Set Restaurant in Barra de Navidad, both offer commanding views of the bay. These restaurants are set high on rocky cliffs above the water, and that vantage point sets you up for some great photo ops. First, Banderas Bay stretches as far as the eye can see, and it's as beautiful during the day as it is at sunset. And photographers who aren't afraid of heights can watch the bay's water froth up on the rocks at the base of the cliff, creating an on-going and gorgeous "frothing waves" scenario.
Add some local color to your album with shots of the goings-on around town. Every day, there are plenty of uniquely gifted individuals out and about, doing what makes them happy. Ask permission, then click. Snap a Mariachi band in action (if your device can do sound recording, turn it on); preserve the Malecn's voladores in mid-flight; save an image of your favorite street vendor, then go ahead and buy the big hat with all the bling.
