Growing up in a big family taught Jane to love all the weird little traits that people can exhibit
. One day, a boy named Tommy came into her life and he had the same way of looking at people with a love for their odd ways. Soon, they were madly in love. Tommy popped the question, she answered yes, and they chose a date for their special day. They could not have known then the legend that their would become, a cautionary tale whispered in hushed tones into the ears of future brides-to-be which always ended with the same warning, and that's why you should choose professional wedding entertainment for your wedding reception.Aunt Bertha was Jane's favorite relative, even though she was very demanding about appropriate styles and tastes. When she heard that Jane was getting married, she immediately took over the planning, down to every last detail. She was so refined, that almost no one could perceive her self-proclaimed genius.
As minor conflicts flared into raging conflagrations, curses were called down from the sky to clash upon the heads of formerly beloved family members. The greatest physicist in the world could not have worked out the seating chart, not even if multiple universes were evoked. The day was drawing near and there was so much chaos that when it came time to choose entertainment, they both agreed, let cousin Freddie do it.
Sure, Freddie was a bit freckly and his voice had lately developed a few squeaks to its tone, but the kid had a dream. Jane and Tommy decided there was no better day to make dreams come true than a wedding day. So, Freddie was given the opportunity to play DJ.
Freddie took this opportunity very seriously and knew it was important to dress right for it. He walked into the reception wearing gold chains, sunglasses, a lopsided cap, and jeans that fell down to his knees. Jane couldn't help but think that a professional would have known to wear a tuxedo.
Soon, it was time to dance together for the first time as husband and wife. It started out very well. The right song was playing and they were even dancing to it when Freddie decided to liven things up with some scratching. They stopped dancing to cover their ears and saw that everyone else was doing the same thing. Both of them longed for the singing pianist who could croon classy tunes. They had almost hired him. If they had, they would have at least been able to finish their dance.
Throughout the rest of the evening, Freddie played rap song after rap song, clearly thinking he was doing a great job. Meanwhile, aunt Bertha's efforts to control her rage were turning her face several deep shades of purple . Finally, she could take no more. She ran up to the booth and took hold of the turntable. Freddie quickly got a grip on it too and as they pulled the machine back and forth, sparks went flying and set poor Bertha's hair aflame. A waiter quickly dumped an entire pitcher of water over her head and as she recovered from the shock, Bertha managed to point a shaky finger at Freddie as she loudly proclaimed that any real professional would have inflammable equipment and would know better than to ruin a wedding with inappropriate music.
The legend of Freddie's night as DJ is now an immortalized nightmare, carefully passed between former and future brides who cautiously whisper, and that's why you should choose professional wedding entertainment for your wedding reception.
