The Playmobil holiday brand of toys is considered the brainchild of Hans Beck who is considered as the "Father of the Playmobil toys".
Playmobil holiday offers a wide range of toys that are not complex at all for a kid to understand and play. The series was first introduced in the year 1974 to visitors at the international Toy Fair in Nuremburg. It gained little acceptance. However, their business did not pick up immediately as these toys did not have an ideal market for toys back then. But they did not get demoralised. Fortune ultimately clicked for the company when a Dutch company bought and undertook its production and marketing process for a year.
1975 onwards the company became an instant success and from then on there was no turning back. Playmobil holiday toys became a hit worldwide. For the past 25 years they have been a great success and have given their main competitor Lego toys a run for their money.
