Tipping the waitress or waiter is not required in all restaurants, but is expected, with the customary tip being from 15% to 20% of the bill.
For safety measures, never walk away from your luggage in any public place. You may feel that it will be safe for just a moment, but it only takes a moment to have it stolen.
