The beauty of a safari in South Africa is that you can visit any style of safari location in one country and there are well trodden tourist routes with a vast range of animals, along with some quieter spots too. All of these destinations come with a backdrop of amazing scenery and you are guaranteed to see a wide selection of species.

Among the list of locations within South Africa are the sprawling Kruger national park, which is without doubt one of the best safari destinations in the entire world. Alternatively, you can visit the Madikwe region or choose from five giant reserves on the Eastern Cape. Each has something different to offer, but all will leave you with memories to last a lifetime.
Remember, as you would with any type of trip, from a sightseeing tour to a skiing holiday, take a good-quality camera and video recording equipment as well. The memories from a safari trip can certainly stay with you for a lifetime but they are more easily recalled if you have some recorded images, moving or otherwise, from the holiday itself.
