This rodeo is the "must-see" even of the year and has been running for well over a century in beautiful Payson, Arizona in the northern part of the state.For 126 continuous years Payson, Arizona has been celebrating the history and tradition of Pro-Rodeo during the third weekend in August. According to the PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association), which sanctions the event, it"s considered the country's Best Small Rodeo. There is nothing like the exhilaration of rodeo - the official sport of the Old West. Some of the world"s greatest professional cowboys and cowgirls will be there including fearless bull riders, steer wrestlers, bronc riders, specialty acts, and colorful clowns.
